UPDATE!!!

It has been like a week and i haven't posted anything yet, it's because i'm trying to figure out what other gadgets i can put on my blog. I'm bad at this. Plus i have really been preparing for my October Haul. I've bought several items and i am still planning to buy some more. I am building my make-up kit right now, i felt like all the things i have right now are either dirty or useless. i am trying to get several items that would really be very useful for me. I'm on a very tight budget for this month and i turned my bargain radar on! I'm good at this, bargain hunting. Yay!

I'll also post pictures tomorrow for my NAIL OF THE WEEK entries. Since I'm on a budget, i'll just post one nail color per week! New colors from different local nail polish brands that are beautiful and very much budget friendly!

My boyfriend and I are planning to go toDivisoria this Sunday, i hope that would push through, i really want to window shop some items.

I have really been so busy this week, boyfie is having his room slightly renovated, we already bought several things for his room and I'll also include it in my haul. I really wish i could write regularly, i hope next week would not be as busy as this week! *fingers crossed*

I'M A HAUL VIDEO ADDICT!!!

I don't know, but for the past month i have been so hooked up with haul videos in youtube. At first, i was just into make-up tutorials, but boy once i saw ThatHeart's haul video i got hooked!!!!

Beauty Channels in Youtube are very useful when it comes to what product is good and what is not. But it really is hard get the items they are featuring or reviewing since most of them are based in the States, or if not, in another country.I'll tell you this, the "drugstore" product in the States are more likely a "high-end" product here in the Philippines, and that's the sad part of it. So, i decided to search  PHILIPPINE HAUL videos, and man they are so few. Some of them i really like, because i really could relate to the products they are showing, and some of them really got to my nerves.

Main reason why i get irritated with most of the PHILIPPINE HAUL videos, trying hard mag english! I mean, gumagawa ka ng haul for Filipino audience, well of course meron manonood from other countries, pero if you've decided to use English as your medium then be sure not to sound funny! Pinoy ako, at pinagmamalaki ko yun, ayoko lang talaga ng pinagtatawanan tayo ng ibang tao. Still, i respect your decision. Hindi naman din ako perpekto sa inggles, this is just my 2 cents advice.

Well, i just ranted about it. But, all in all i really appreciate those beautiful Filipina in Youtube who are trying to reach out and create a good source of alternative products that we viewers could use...

DIVISORIA

Having been raised here in the Philippines, going to Divisoria is like a tradition for me. I don't know its counterparts in other countries, but i believe that bargains and deals in Divisoria are like unbeatable. For those people who haven't even heard of the place, try to Google it and you'll know what i mean when i say that DIVISORIA IS THE BARGAIN CAPITAL OF THE PHILIPPINES.

I do have a lot of good memories with that place. Just like when my cousin bought her gorgeous wedding dress at Tutuban Shopping Mall, my cousin, my sister and I are all skeptical if we will find a good Wedding gown, because we all know that bargain products reall suck when it comes to quality, but to our surprise we found a gown that is way too gorgeous, i mean beyond gorgeous, and it's like just around 3000php, that's just around $60, and mind you guys it's a set! It comes with all the necessary thing you need in a wedding, like the gold coins, the ring-bearer pillow, like the whole package, and we just find it a steal because the quality of the product is just remarkable. Plus the time we spent running down all the corridors of the shopping center is like a good bonding for us.

I just literally grabbed her wedding picture in fb account. Peace Ate! Just look at that gown, would you think that it's just around 3000php? I wouldn't! it's a total steal.

My boyfriend and i like literally goes to Divisoria at least once a month, just to buy random stuff that we think we need. Of course, when you talk about Divisoria you would also think of fake products, and believe me, when i say fake, i mean it. My boyfriend gave me a China Phone Replica of the iPhone 4, and it's disgusting! Like after 3mos of using it, it died on me! I'm not a gadget abuser or whatsoever, i take care of each and every single gadgets i have, may it be cheap or expensive. But, man that phone is like disposable! My boyfriend bought it around 2000php and we thought that it's a steal because it really looks like the real one! But we ended just wasting 2000php for a bullcrap!

I just found the box, the phone? I threw it a long time ago! this box brings the memory of me being all giddy for an iPhone 4 dupe, and i just ended up a sorry looser in the end! Lesson learned!


Divisoria is a haven for those people who are on a budget like me. Yes, you'll find good dupes in here, but you got to be patient, and very much particular into the quality side of the product. You got to haggle like there's no tomorrow too!!  I mean there are a lot of good stuff in Divisoria you just got to find it, like Diamond in the rough hunnies!

This is me. Then?

i will not give you my vital statistics, nor give you any physical description of myself. i am who i am, like it or not, honey, i could not care less.

a lot of my friends tell me, never to speak so frankly, because my frankness leaves a bad impression to other people, and i would always tell them i don't care of what other people might think of me. they don't know me personally. i believe that i am a "no non-sense" person, i speak my mind, and boy, do i speak my mind so well, that sometimes make other people think of me as an arrogant li'l bitch. but i won't blame them, my mom told me way back to "never pretend to be someone you're not, if other people can't jive with you, it's not your fault, maybe those people just couldn't handle your big wonderful personality." and i still go with that "advice" up to now. i don't know. i might sound so egoistic but i really don't think much of what other people might say about me. not that i'm a narcissist but i really do feel that if a person can't handle me the first time he/she met me then he/she couldn't handle me at all. i guess that's the reason why i only have few friends.

friends for me are like 24 karat diamond, honey, they are so rare! haha! but i really do treasure them. those friends who have stayed and managed to deal with me and have gone past the first impression thingy are the ones who really do love me. to think that they had made their way and broke the strong walls i built is just remarkable. that's why i really cherish them. i love you guys! (y'all know who you are!)


bottom line is, never go with your first impressions. go and find a way to know a person. never judge a person by her physical traits. as i always say, BEAUTY IS NOT JUST SKIN-DEEP. REAL BEAUTY COMES FROM WITHIN.
